Our loose load of kiln-dried hardwood firewood is a popular choice for customers looking for a generous supply of premium-quality logs for wood burners, open fires and outdoor fire pits. Each load contains approximately 1.3 cubic metres of loose logs, which will stack to around 1 cubic metre once neatly stacked.
The load is a mixed hardwood blend, predominantly Ash, along with Beech, Oak and other hardwood species. Carefully kiln dried to a moisture content of below 20%, these hardwood logs light quickly, burn hotter, produce more heat, making them ideal for keeping your home warm.
Our kiln-dried logs are supplied in one standard size:
Standard Logs: approximately 9–10 inches
Approx. 1.3 cubic metres loose volume
Stacks to approximately 1 cubic metre when neatly stacked
